Punch cards in Silver Reed knitting machines are used to create various patterns, such as Fair Isle, tuck, slip, and lace. The cards are slid into the reader. Align up the starting row. The carriage will read the holes which correspond to the needles and will knit the pattern accordingly.

Using a blank set and the handy punch you create unique patterns of your own design setting your knitwear apart. Once you've mastered using one punch card, you'll be able to expand your potential for unique patterns to a lot more designs.
