Skilled artisans, mainly women, craft these yarns in their studios in Mersin and Istanbul, Turkey. Knitting and crochet, hand crafts able to stand the test of time, have always been part of their culture and media for artistic aspiration. All collections are crafted meticulously by the hands of talented women in Mersin and Istanbul studios. Urth Yarns’ Uneek collection, our favorite, is renowned for its self-striping magic, offering a delightful journey through vibrant color transitions without the hassle of changing yarns or weaving in ends. This collection includes yarns in various weights:

• Fingering Weight: Ideal for self-striping accessories and lightweight garments. Each skein is 100% Superwash Merino with 440 yards (400 meters).
• DK Weight: Perfect for pullovers, vests, shawls, and accessories. Each skein is 100% Superwash Merino with 300 yards (275 meters).
• Worsted Weight: Great for outerwear, hats, mitts, and scarves. Each skein is 100% Superwash Merino with 220 yards (200 meters)12.
