Weekend Cardigan Free Pattern in Pacific Chunky

This very basic, but very classy cardigan would be a fairly fast product because it uses Pacific Chunky and US#10 needles. It features a simple knit - purl trim above the ribbings and on the pockets, making it a bit more than an "around-the-house" cardigan. Designed by Therese Chynoweth, a well known designer, for her common sense and very usable designs.

Materials:
• Cascade Yarns Pacific® Chunky; 60% Acrylic, 40% Superwash Merino Wool; 100 g (3.5 oz)/ 120 yds (110 m);
• 6 (7, 8, 9, 9, 10, 11, 11) skeins (sample done in color 185 Duck Green)
• US 10 (6 mm) knitting needles or size to obtain gauge
• US 10 (6 mm) 32" or 40" circular knitting needle
• Yarn needle
• 2 stitch markers
• 7 buttons 28 mm (1 1/8") size
