Silver Reed Cast on Combs

To use a cast on comb, you typically hang it on the first row of stitches after casting on, then attach weights to the comb to keep the fabric taut. This setup helps in achieving a neat and uniform start to your knitting project.

Silver Reed cast on comb set comes with the LK150 mid-gauge knitting machine. They do not offer it with the main bed of the metal beds. 

Cast on combs are not a requirement to cast on on a main bed. They are/were created with a convenience factor in mind.

The Silver Reed Standard Gauge Ribber SRP60N has 2 cast on combs supplied with the machine. These combs are essential to cast on ribbing.
