Juniper Moon Cumulus Yarn - Celadon 56
I’m thrilled to tell you about Cumulus—easily one of the softest yarns I’ve ever worked with. Spun in Italy from luxurious Mako cotton, its unique chainette construction makes it incredibly light and airy, yet surprisingly strong. Most cottons have no stretch, but Cumulus has stretch, and even knits on our Silver Reed LK150 knitting machine like butter!
#56 Celadon is a very pale sage green with light silver undertones. It has a gentle, almost luminous quality—like sage leaves kissed with morning dew. The silver undertone adds a cool, whispery delicateness that gives the yarn a subtle sophistication, perfect for garments or accessories with a natural yet elevated look.
Perfect for warm-weather projects, Cumulus shines in delicate capelets, breezy sweaters, and graceful wraps. It’s also an excellent choice for anyone sensitive to wool—gentle, soft, and kind to even the most delicate skin.
Whether you knit or crochet, you’ll love how smoothly it glides through your hands. The stitch definition is crisp, and textured stitches like cables really pop.
Once you try it, you’ll see why it’s a favorite—working with Cumulus is pure joy from the first stitch to the last.
