- US#8 Knitting Needles or size to obtain gauge Yarn Needle (Cherub Baby is a fingering [ 1 ] weight yarn. This pattern uses a much larger needle for drape. A smaller needle can be used, but I recommend finding the pattern repeat (we think it is 18sts) and casting on additional stitches keeping within the pattern repeat.
