Queensland Collection Kathmandu Fingering Yellow Jacket 04
Yellow Jacket is an old gold shade spun with shades of grey, and flecks of black.
I love the Kathmandu collection. And now Queensland Yarn has introduced it in a fingering weight. It is a soft, subdued and earthy shade. This luxurious merino, silk and cashmere tweed is a joy to work with. Your knit or crochet project does not need to be fancy. The yarn stands on its own. Perfect for an office cardigan, buttons or no buttons, long sleeves or short sleeves, it all works. In the summer, those restaurants can be cold! Knit or crochet up a decent size wrap. Maybe throw in a few rows of contrast color, or trim the ends with some lace work or scallop edges. Maybe a small lap robe for your couch or she-shed.
This natural fiber should be hand wash only, in a wool friendly soap. These soaps, such as Eucalan Wash, condition and moisturize the fibers, keeping it soft and pliable.
