Delaunay? Sonia Delaunay (born 1885) is a Ukrainian born, Russian artist. She spent most of her life in Paris with her husband Robert Delaunay. Delaunay's art uses bold colors and lots of fun geometric shapes. Inspired by Delaunay's Flamenco Dancer painting, these colors are bold, but soft at the same time. Sonia died in 1979, but not after spending her entire life working with color, rhythm and abstraction. This Art Deco afghan, influenced by Sonia Delaunay's work is a great mix of colors that say "sunroom", or an energetic child's room!
