Bast (The Egyptian Cat Goddess) is by Emily Balivet. Balivet is a freelance artist. Her Bast Painting is Art Nouveau inspired. True to Art Nouveau the colors are pure, but soft.
This painting has lots of gold, and Cascade has chosen 2 shades of yellow/gold to get this intensity. The red, green and blue selected, combined with the golds lends this afghan a bit of playful elegance. Perfect for any room that is busy with loved ones.
