220 Superwash Wave consists of four strands twisted together. Each of the 4 plies is dyed individually between 2 or more shades. Then the 4 plies are plied together. The end result is that each hank is substantially different depending on where the color lands after the final ply with a gentle color way gradient effect. The 4-ply construction helps the yarn showcase the wave-like color transitions beautifully in finished projects.
